Funke Olayinka, MD

OUR FOUNDER

Funke Olayinka, MD is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GHIT Consulting INC, a Business Consulting Firm, and the owner of Nothing Bundt Cake in Wayne, NJ. She also provides consulting services to SMEs and Franchise business owners. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Science, Arts, and Technology, College of Medicine-Olveston, Montserrat, her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), and her bachelor’s degree in human Physiology from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She was awarded the 2018 Role Model Award from the Roselle Area NAACP Chapter.

Dr. Olayinka is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, uncompromised integrity, and high professional standards. Her passion and exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and empower individuals and teams drive her professional aspirations of improving healthcare delivery and workplace productivity in hospitals and Cancer Centers. She has successfully designed chemotherapy protocols for oncologists and pharmacists to improve patient care across multiple hospitals and clinics across the country, as well as provide key findings and recommendations to executive management in support of a successful Cancer Center EMR implementation. Her expertise as a Healthcare IT consultant has been employed by several hospitals such as NYU Hospital- New York, Mount Sinai Medical Center- New York, Lifespan Cancer Institute- Rhode Island, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center- Houston, Smilow Yale Cancer Center (SFHMC) at Saint Francis – Hartford, CT and University Hospital/Rutgers Cancer Center- Newark, NJ, OU Health- Oklahoma City, OK, University of California – Davis, CA, CHI Franciscan Health – Tacoma WA, Houston TX, Kentucky TX, Baptist Memorial Health Care Center – Memphis TN, Greensville Health – North Carolina and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences- Little Rock AR.

Dr Olayinka is on the Board of Directors for the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey supporting the chamber’s mission to economically empower and sustain African American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activities within the state of New Jersey. She is also an Advisory and Advancement Council Member at the William Paterson Cotsakos College of Business serving to help advance William Paterson’s mission and strengthen the University’s competitive position among public institutions of higher education in New Jersey and beyond. Dr. Olayinka serves as the Program director for the iRead Summer Program, which is a community focused, faith-based initiative at Agape House of Worship Roselle NJ, whose goal is to encourage elementary school students in Roselle to maintain their motivation to learn and progress in their reading capabilities during their summer vacation period. Dr. Olayinka also serves as a member of the MyGOAL Inc. Enrichment Grant review board, a program that awards grants that enable families to take advantage of socialization and educational opportunities designed for individuals with special needs.

Tolu Amele

ADVISORY PARTNER

Tolu Amele is a lead Advisory Partner at GHIT where she oversees the Strategy & Transformation practice overseeing the delivery of high-quality client service and representing the firm in the industry market and community. Tolu brings nearly 15 years of experience in helping clients achieve their strategic and operational goals with a bias to data and analytics. 
 
Having worked with a diverse range of cross-industry clients, both multinational and domestic, in Healthcare/Life Sciences, Government, Technology, Telecomm, and Financial Services. Tolu has been exposed to the broad range of issues challenging GHIT clients, successfully transforming their front and back-office operations to better serve their workers, constituents, and communities. 
 
Tolu focuses on leveraging technology as an enabler, bringing deep functional and industry experience to Organization Strategy, Program management, Procurement, and Organizational Development initiatives. Her approach is to always provide a comprehensive and holistic view of “what good looks like,” identifying business efficiencies leveraging data that drives cross-functional change all to help shape and deliver an excellent implementation for our clients.
